My tasks in this project, Produce detailed design documentation for the new storage configurations. I configure additional 4TB useable in existing DS8870 with DSCLI. Configure the new DS8870 to match existing DS8870 with DSCLI and DS8870 HMC planning and setup. Configure and test Metro Mirror replication for all volumes from existing DS8870 to new DS8870 with TPC-R and TSO commands. Reconfigure existing and new storage in DS8870 to match current DS8870 providing XRC target and Flashcopy target. Configure and test Flashcopy from XRC target to Flashcopy target in new DS8870. Make education about DS8K configuration and metro mirror.

The problem could be Job, Dataset, Volume, Library, Tape, Catalog, HSM etc. I making system backup and recovery. Self-support of the applied tools HSM, RMM, SRM and SYSVIEW. In-depth fault analysis and problem solving, problem escalation, if necessary. Advice and support to customers in the area of ​​Space Management. Perform a recent and complete documentation. ACS systems: monitoring the scratch pools. Logical volumes inserting or number ranges. Monitoring the daily functions (migration / backup) Manual migration at bottlenecks Dasd and Tape migration. I had storage and z/OS jobs in this position. My daily duties the Batch-jobs handle, repairing and scheduling in CA and CONTROL-M. RACF support and problem handling. I can write the jobs in REXX and in JCL what the customer ask. I handle the storage problem too. Example: Space problem in the system or on the DASD, on TAPE or in the Storage groups. Dataset , volume , HSM or Catalog error. Maintenance / Cleanup the HSM pools (ML1/ML2). Migration to DASD and Tape, Recover from DASD, Tape.

I made Disaster Recovery and manage it to Storage side. ​ I'm adept at CA Disk(CA1), Dataset utilities IDCAMS,IEBCOPY,IEFBR14,IEBGENER (recall, restore, recover, backup, migrate, creation, move, copy, edition, GDG define etc) DFSMSdfp, DFSMSdss, DFSMShsm, DFSMSrmm, DFSORT(copy, sort and merge dataset) Volume initialization or status change, ACS routine writing or changing, Catalog management ,ALIAS creating, VSAM creating, HSM (commands, BCDS, MCDS, OCDS, Journal, Recycle, Reorganization ect), ABARS writing and changing, Tape and Library handling in RMM, ATL/VTL handling, GDPS/PPRC using and handling, Metro mirror copy and replication. Support Flashcopy. I knowing the ISMF and SAWR tool very well. I write jobs in JCL and REXX. In my daily work I use Linux operating system.

My daily duties are system monitoring, daily checking, system alert control and solving via NETVIEW focal point and OMEGAMON different requests and any change executing, on-going tasks e.g. job and application repairing and submitting, Batch handling and scheduling in CA7, CONTROLM and TWS/OPC, IPL via GDPS and NVE, BETA 92(output manager) knowledge and VTAM handling. UC4 daily usage, first and second level tasks: job streams, job and job plan monitoring. Job and Batch scheduling and job error handling (start, stop, cancel, restart) Groups creating. I make many check(Usage, Client, Server, Executor, User, Message and Database).User ID creation, handling. UC4 installation to different platform. Applications and job scheduling and update and create documentation of different systems via Word, Excel and Power-point. I have experience to the Disaster Recovery and VM operating. Also, part of my every day task is meeting our customers where we discuss escalation, I giving advice and try to find the solution to their problems. As well as I review, open and approve the changes and incidents tickets and after I dispatch these. I using different ticketing tool: ARS(REMEDY), MAXIMO 1,2,4,7. As Team leader I dispatch the work, review all change what affect the shift and make sure that these changes to be successful. I organize and manage the shift's daily work as well as I doing administrative tasks.
