Engineering manager
o Cost planning, Cash-flow forecast, CAPEX & OPEX, new product/project/factory/site launch, shut down work/projects , leading multiple future-programmes.
o Mapping and finalizing: manufacturing-assembly process, In-process testing, FMEA, QMS documents, DRA, leading GD &T, APQP etc. as per IATF 16949 standards.
o Six sigma analysis, 8D & implementation, LEAN principle implementation in business & management.
o CAE analysis, 3-D / 2-D CAD, Structural analysis, VAVE, DVP&R, Assembly automation & tooling design etc.
o Formulating plans and structures of various process flow from logistics to production.
o Creating Bill of Sequence, Process tracker , Control plans, Bill of Process, Manufacturing data Sheet , Standard op-sheets & updating packs (as changes are introduced via change management)
o Provide and monitor/audit QA/QC implementation for projects , Reviewing of site performance on a periodic schedule
o Deliver optimal design while adhering to project targets, performance objectives, quality & cost.
o Validating 'mass-manufacturing feasibility of component’s concept/design’; leading CF team ranging from 'commodity purchasing to engineering' against the Design concepts.
o Scouting 'best solution-globally' for various engineering implementations (ranging from trials to NPI).
o Looking after facility & machinery issues: buy-offs, commissioning and installations.
o Factory construction & extension, installation set-up of plant.
o Planning detailed engineering activities and finalizing requirements and specifications in consultation with Engineering, Logistics, Maintenance, Contractors and Production Departments; serving as interface for smooth implementation.
o Handling the complete cycle of the project management entailing requirement estimation.
o Suggesting new ideas; preparing project plans and technical specifications for smooth execution of projects within the time and cost parameters.
o Generating plans with Health and Safety for execution of engineering and installation activities.
o Overhead & recruitment planning, Cascading Start of Year-departmental objectives to teams.
o Range of responsibility in current tenure: Engineering, New Technology introduction, Self-sufficiency development within team, Budget, Planning, Installation, Commissioning, Operations.
