I am a flexible & adaptive professional with a proven ability to change my approach to dynamic situations, this has been a key quality in my ability to build a career in health & safety & emergency response management. I have over 15 years experience working with health & safety teams & emergency teams in oil, gas & bulk fuel installations & over ten years experience in emergency team managerial & coordinating roles. I have a proven history of effectively installing & maintaining high quality emergency & HSE response teams, this includes a proven ability to plan, develop, implement & evaluate high quality response plans to changing shutdown/startup situations that meet internal & external stakeholder requirements. I pride myself on keeping up to date with a wide variety of HSE industry & response techniques. I enjoy analytical problem solving & team working in multi cultural arenas, this includes being able to develop complex rosters, timetables, incident investigations & emergency cover plans & policies. Although my past work history appears to be non-completely oil & gas related every position I have held heavily encompasses my ability to manage complex emergency response programs whilst being culturally aware of my clientele’s needs.
