Jazan Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle Refinery $15 Billion US integrated gasification combined cycle refinery and power plant: Serve as project engineer to perform wide-ranging duties, including setting project objectives, collaborating with other departments, monitoring project progress, assigning tasks, while adhering the legal and safety regulations. Perform activities as common utilities area lead for the waste water treatment plant. Execute overall area operations i.e. two substations, one process interface operations building, two warehouses, one office building, 15km of pipe rack, underground piping, over-ground piping, high voltage electrical cabling, mixture of concrete static tanks and steel storage tanks.  Collaborated with contractors and manufacturers to ensure on time delivery of all electrical and mechanical components, such as transformers, pumps, electrical switchgear, and process racks.  Supervised HVAC installation and cable tray installation, as well as compiled daily and weekly management updates and monthly progress reports.  Completed 80% work of building and pipe racks, and 70% work of carbon steel tank in seven months through enhancing the work progress.  Oversaw pre-commissioning of switchgear in substations by following lock out and tag out rules.

PetroRabigh Phase II Expansion $8.5 billion U.S. Dollar petro-chemical refinery expansion project: Managed project from inception to completion of pre-commissioning, within budgetary and time constraints by acting as project engineer. Provided hands-on oversight to all civil, piping & pre-commissioning works on site in three separate areas. Steered all civil and structural work in common utilities area, containing air separation unit, solid and liquid incinerators, cooling tower for the refinery, oil coolers, storage tanks, and fire water system. Administered all civil works and buildings in two additional areas, such as waste water and sewage treatment plant (Effluent, aeration and equalisation basins, clarifiers, contaminated surface water tanks, etc. plus a substation and process interface building), and tank farm.  Reviewed project plans and proposals in collaboration with management to develop project objectives, and interfaced with other package managers with regards to tie-ins and interface points for drainage, fire water lines, cooling water lines, steam lines, steam supply, ensuring lock out tag out. etc.  Organised over-ground piping, carbon steel and stainless steel pipes, steam lines, instrument air, liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, refinery waste lines, slop oil, acrylic acid, PMMA, H2O2 etc.  Delivered input and direction to underground services RTR and GRP, effluent line, waste water, and fire water lines, as well as test packs, hydrostatic test and nitrogen leak tests.
