Researching, translating and publishing complex Torah texts. Currently working on translation of the Babylonian Talmud with commentaries and on an edition of elaborate commentaries of Pirkey Avot. Over 30 highly professional people take part in this truly historic endeavor for the benefit of all the Russian-speaking Jewry.

Management: helping organisations in developing ERP systems, business processes optimisation, identifying various cost reduction opportunities, financial performance analysis Financial: international finance, investment analysis Business: international business matchmaking

Key responsibilities (3 subordinates): 1. Preparation and consolidation of internal financial reports; 2. In-depth financial performance analysis with recommendations, various ad-hoc analyses; 3. Budgeting (planning, financial control, variance analysis); 4. Working capital use optimisation (planning, control, variance analysis); 5. Improvement of the Enterprise Resource Planning system (includes bottlenecks and automation opportunities identification, writing-up requirements specifications); 6. Business processes optimisation; 7. Dealing with banks queries regarding financial performance. Main achievements: Developed a number of successful solutions (business processes and IT) for optimisation of the planning, control and reporting processes (e.g. direct cost allocation, automated budgeting system, automated control over overdue accounts payable and receivable), identified unprofitable product lines. In the last half year - deputy financial director and in the last months de facto acting CFO (add corporate finance, management of treasury and bookkeeping divisions). Left due to family immigration to Israel although the position of CFO was practically at hand.

Responsibilities: Preparation of budgets, internal financial reporting, variance analysis, financial performance analysis, preparation and submission of credit applications to the banks. Main achievements: Significatly improved the quality of internal reporting and at the same time reduced the preparation period by solving numerous bottlenecks in the process. Was given the authority to organise a new department.
