- Hiring, creating the engineering team for design of Gas Processing plant starting from zero. Basic Functions: - sizing of static and rotation equipment; - develops Engineering design memorandum including a Process description, an Equipment list, a Process flow diagram; - defines plant utilities including Cooling Water Towers, back up systems, CDAs, N2 purges and etc. - participates in Process Safety Reviews ( Hazops ); - performs hydraulic and thermal calculations on piping systems using Hysys, Olga software; - pevelops Operating and Maintenance manuals; - provides process data such as equipment sizing, Instruments process conditions, ACS logic, Piping calculations for other team members; - develops, selects and implements engineering techniques and solutions to solve difficult problems; - assists in determining project objectives to contribute to the development of a comprehensive project design; - outlines project requirements, assigns tasks, and supervises progress to ensure that objectives are being met; - provides technical direction to project team members; - preparing Process flow diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrument Diagrams (PID) Specifications, Data Sheets, Cause & Effect Diagrams, etc.; - reviewing and evaluating technical offers, technical discussions, negotiations and finalization of technical issues; - reviewing the design / engineering documents.

Basic Functions: - performing conceptual design generating process flow sheets and other data to be used as basis for developing project scope and project cost estimates. - performing heat & material balances, hydraulics, flare and other supporting process calculations; prepare specification for all required process equipments, including vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, relief valves and others. - preparing Process flow diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrument Diagrams (PID) Specifications, Data Sheets, Cause & Effect Diagrams, etc. - reviewing and evaluating technical offers, technical discussions, negotiations and finalization of technical issues. - reviewing the design / engineering documents prepared by Licensor. - familiar with the relevant API, International Codes & Standards, GOST and others. - supervising and coordinating engineering, construction, pre-commissioning activities with equipment vendors & construction contractors and support to commissioning/start-up and effective project implementation. Responsibilities: - prepare process design basis, process description & equipment list; - prepare process data sheets for equipment & major instruments; - perform process equipment sizing calculation: vessels, valves, heat exchangers, pumps and other engineering calculations for piping, instrument sizes; - confer with manufacturing and project management to prepare design solutions, modifications, ect.
