Lead HR function and part of business leadership team growing a global presence for Gazprom Retail division. Linking in with HR in Russia and globally. Delivered a new target operating model, European HR strategy and delivery including a new approach to workforce planning and compensation and reward. Built an employer brand and raised the profile of Gazprom Energy within the Gazprom Marketing and Trading Group.

Various HRD roles that have involved me working in and with Russian businesses and divisions of businesses. I set up a new plant in Efremov for Cargill - leading the staffing and recruitment plan and setting up HR systems and processes. I led on the development of learning and training for Hermes Moscow based operation (which was a start up for them as with this role). I've been a leader in many global manufacturing organisations which included Russia as part of my remit - Rolls Royce, Thermofisher. I'm married to a Russian national and though I am not a fluent Russian speaker I understand the Russian culture and know how to work effectively in it. It would not take long for me to acquire the requisite Russian language skills.
