Working for one of the leading construction certification holding companies on a freelance strategy assignment. Currently employed as a strategy assistant to the CEO. - Working with company's top management to provide the CEO with strategic initiatives for a developing multinational bank which has recently started operating in the Czech Republic. - Lead a project, alongside finance director, looking at new profit sources for the bank. Mainly focused on commission income in light of tough inter-bank lending market and proposed a number of possibilities that are feasible given the bank's strategic objectives and its competitive advantage. The study was a success and the bank is currently working on implementing some of the recommendations. - Developed and presented to the CEO a strategic piece aimed at outlining synergies between the Russian bank and the bank in the Czech Republic. Some of the ideas were welcomed by the shareholder which lead to a bank-wide strategic overview which involved all heads of departments. - Worked with the CEO on a full internal strategy review of the bank. The aim of the review was to decide on the main operational activities and to review internal processes for each particular operational division. This project involved the whole of the bank's top management and the results were presented to the majority shareholder.

- Freelance strategy consulting. Working directly for the head of UK strategy on consolidating the European company focus for the next year. - Worked as a junior team member and was involved on all stages of the study: market analysis, opportunity evaluation, data gathering and strategy formulation. The overall output will be used to highlight growth areas and key priorities for the company in the coming year. - Responsible for testing out company’s major research provider (Profound) and making recommendations on the best practice and suitability of this platform for their UK office.

- Responsible for interacting with top level executives such as CEOs, directors and owners of companies in order to convince them to consult our clients. Liaised daily with senior management and proactively drive the consulting process which required strong organisational skills. - Concentrated on network development in the Russian speaking countries to enhance service offered to our clients. Developed the expansion in the region by forming partnerships with consultancies, associations and professional bodies. - Maintained relationships with the new and existing members in order to achieve better service for our clients as well as to promote the company image. Establish connections in order to get referrals and drive business development.

- Worked on the knowledge side for the European Financial Institutions Centre where I concentrated on strategic and technical issues arising in the UK asset management industry. Also covered some life insurance and helped out on general insurance projects - Provided strategic support to client teams on market conditions and dynamics, competitor analysis and SWOT analysis. Often involved in the initial stages of client engagements to assist in planning the engagements by leveraging my knowledge of the investment industry. - Educated consultants on the technical aspects of asset management. Was the initial call point for all queries relating to the UK. - Work on internal knowledge pieces such as databases, surveys and primers which are then used by company members and for client development. Headed the UK part of the annual McKinsey European asset management survey that included 75% of all UK players (by AUM). Also involved in promoting the survey to the participants.
